sometimes we are just in the wrong line

I really liked this cartoon.  Makes you think.

more birthday fun

I wasn't expecting any gifts!  Josh made me this creative card, Millers brought flowers, Staheli's got me banana gram and My mother in law brought me this HUGE Zucchini from her garden...looks like a lot of people will be getting Zucchini bread:)  Many people say, "what did Brien get you?"  Well this year I went shopping early and found myself some amazing boots and jeans and Brien was more than happy to pay for them!  Thanks everyone for making it a fabulous birthday!

I also had to post a picture of this cute window with hangers.  My Sister in Law gave this to me for Christmas a while back and I have been waiting for the perfect spot to hang it since our house has always been in a remodel project.  Isn't it so cool!!

That's right 33.

I had a birthday yesterday.  For those of you who do not know, I am not a big chocolate lover and store bought cake person.  My mom taught me how to make Aunt Gina's secret orange sponge cake and then yesterday Josh really wanted to help me bake this lemon cake a friend had made for me on Sunday that was to die for.  While Belle's went and played with her cousins, Josh became a cooking machine.  It was a lot of fun and I think the cakes turned out fabulous and tasted yummy:)  It was great to have family over!  There should always be a reason to have a party!

Cousins=Friends

I took these pictures from my sister in laws blog because they were so adorable.  Bella and her cousin Reese are quite the duo.  They love to be together.  Most of the time we find them doing things like taking food out of the pantry, going through purses (bella eating the chapstick), in the mud, or climbing to the top bunk and playing.  I am so glad we have cousins near by.  Bella always wants to be playing with cousins.  They spent a lot of time in this field walking around in their boots.  Aren't they cute!

YES, we have a dog lover.

Aunt Tia and Uncle Tod brought Rudy up for a visit.  At first Bella was timid, but after 15minutes she was telling that dog what to do and would even grab things out of his mouth.  SHE LOVES THE DOG.  The dilemma...do I really want one?

7 years old

Oh how quickly the time goes.  Parties are always best with lots of cousins.

NEW Tricycle.

Just happened to go into Fred Meyers and they had 60% of clearance items!!!!  LOVE IT.  Found this adorable tricyle and knew I had to buy it.   It was even cheaper than the goodwill.  She LOVES it and until she can officially reach the pedals, Josh is her man.

Josh's First Day in First Grade!

So nervous, yet so excited. I wasn't sure about having him gone all day because I like having him home, but I am actually really enjoying this whole day school thing and so is Josh.  Bella and I and Aunt Emily took advantage of this and went shopping!!  Got some awesome boots and Belle's got these adorable silver slip ons.  Can't wait to get an outfit together.  Simple thrills:)

Thanks for the visit and playtime!

Glad you could come enjoy some of Bella's homecookin!

LOVE THE BOOKS!

If the kids want to read, Dad is their man.  Brien always takes time to read to them and they love it.  They are reading Belle's favorite ABC book.
