Tantrums and Happiness

March 30th: She is learning to throw herself to the floor and cry when she doesn't get what she wants. I think it is adorable. Usually it is on her stomach, but she is on her side for this tantrum.

I finally let her climb up to where the computer is and look at pictures once they were loaded. She loves to sneak on the computer and press every single button.

reading

March 30th: Bella has started bringing me books to read. She gives me the book then sits on my lap.

The bruise on her cheek is from falling off the table bench in the kitchen. She loves to look at the window and wave to people and bark at the dogs. The bench didn't go as far as she stepped. Ouch!

biking

March 24th: More bike fun. Josh also lost his first tooth.

Tricylce

March 24th: The sun came out and the kids got to play. Bella found her bike and was trying to ride it. josh was trying to teach her. She thought it was so funny when Josh rode the bike. Bella hasn't really had a chance to walk around outside so it was all pretty new. She was hesitant at first and wouldn't move, then she loved it.

The "band"

March 22nd: Josh taught Bella how to make drums out of pots and pans. At first they were using metal and wood spoons, but I had to switch those out for quiet spatulas.

Every time I say smile Bella gives this smile that you see in the pictures. I think it is hilarious. Can't you just imagine her kindergarten pictures:)

Bella also likes to attack Josh and then Josh will chase after her. She loves this game. I love it when they play "nice" together and all I hear is laughter.

Ear tubes

March 20th: 6:45am Bella was all ready to go for surgery to get tubes in her ears. She didn't cry when the nurses took her away, just hugged her. After surgery they had me hold her while she was coming off the anesthetic. The nurses warned me she may scream, but she just looked so peaceful. Right after that she screamed for 20 minutes. They say anesthetic does that to kids! The night before the surgery they said she was not to eat or drink. Well, Bella has been waking up anywhere from 3-8 times a night crying and wanting a drink. When I couldn't give her a bottle, she wouldn't stop crying. We spent the whole night up together. She slept a lot after surgery. A few days after she got a cold and she is back to waking up at night. Brien saw that I needed a little help so he took a sick day and has taken care of Bella for the past two nights so I can get a little sleep. I can't wait till she feels better. I know she must be miserable with the congestion. On the plus side, she can now hear so she has been trying to say a lot more words. Yesterday I asked her to get me a spoon and she went right to the silverware drawer and opened it. I had no idea she was understanding so much of what I am saying! SO COOL. She must also be going through an attachment phase. She only wants me to hold her all the time, which I love because she gives hugs and kisses and then pats me on the back. Makes every moment of motherhood count!

March 3rd, 2012: Brien came home from graveyards, the kids kept scooting closer and closer to him in their sleep until they were all side by side. Gotta love it when they wake up at 9am!

Valentine's Day

February 14th: The kids just woke up and I had to get some pictures. I got an idea from a magazine and we have been creating a chandelier of hearts that we would write on each day of the things/people we love. It was a lot of fun. Bella also loved the flowers Dad brought me. Dad also wrote each of us notes that were very sweet. It was a great day.

I think she got some in her mouth?

February 11th: Eating is always fun and artistic. She absolutely LOVES tomato soup and noodles. Just wait till she finds make up! Every morning she loves to sit by me while a do my make up. She takes the brushes and brushes her face then gets the little mirror, looks at herself, than laughs and smiles. Little girls are so fun.

Luv the hair

January 28th: My first time braiding. I can't wait to learn more and for her hair to get even longer!
