After two long nights of camping we met up with Brien's family and spent 3 nights in a motel on the beach.  Belles finally got her long sleep.  She loves saying prayers.  She also likes to hide.  I couldn't find her anywhere and I kept calling her name.  I knew she had to be in the room.  When I opened up the bathroom cupboard, there she was smiling and laughing.  What a character!  Josh had tons of fun playing with his cousins and digging gigantic holes on the beach and we all loved running through the water.

Our campsite at the beach.  Josh set up a science station in the tent, Belles ran around and just laughed and chased birds, we all played catch, and of course Belles wakes up Josh in the morning and tackles him.  She is the one who always wakes up Josh.  At home she will stand in her crib and stare at him while he is sleeping(josh likes to sleep in).  Then I hear her say, "JOSH JOSH HI HI".  Belles also loves to drive.  She insisted on playing in the car so she could pretend drive.  It is a good thing she always turns on the hazard lights first.

Let the Vacation begin

We finally got a break for vacation and headed to the Beach.  The kids loved it.  Miles and Miles of sand to run and play in, birds to chase, kites to fly, and camping.  The weather stayed  nice, and we took our gel top mattress pad so we actually slept while camping.

July17, 2012:  We went with Mot to pick strawberries at a local farm.  You know how you have an idea in your mind of how much fun an activity is going to be and that everyone will love it, well...what was in my head was not reality.  The pictures depict fun, but there were more tears and whining than what meets the eye.  Belles would pick all the rotten moldy strawberries and then throw them, then she decided to put them in our strawberry bucket.  Josh was hot, tired, and hungry so is endurance level was not there.  Even though this activity was actually a huge challenge, they did have fun and we had strawberries to eat that were SO sweet.

Hide and Seek Anyone?

July:  I am trying to sell my antique buffet because it is just too big for the house.  I really love it, but it must go.  Bella's cousin Abby taught her how to hide in it.  Bella loves being in little spaces.  you can always find her in a cupboard or closet.

Lovin the babies

July:  Bella adores babies.  Real or not she is a little mommy.  I've never seen a child like babies this much!  I found her this morning with her doll putting necklaces on and then taking the dolls toes and doing "this little piggie"  She would see Wee Wee Wee all the way home and jibber the rest.  I have a video but for some reason they are not loading correctly so pictures will have to do until I figure this out!
