The FAV'S

Whenever we are out running errands, I will hear Bella say, MOM, PIZZA  MOM, Fries.  As she says these things we are passing the restaurants where we sometimes visit and she really wants to stop.  She knows exactly where they are and what to ask for.  The girl loves pizza, breadsticks, fries, and candy.

Last night the Young Women from church came by with a bag of things like candy, hair conditions, etc., nail stuff, and fun pampering items and a nice note for me.  It was such a sweet thing and it has made my year knowing that someone care about you that much.  It meant a lot.  After putting Josh and Bella to bed last night I decided to give myself a pedicure and a manicure.  When Bella came out of bed this morning she immediatly noticed my nails and says, Ooooooo PRETTY! MOM NAIL POLISH!!!  I then did her nails.  It lasted like two hours then she picked them off and cried because she wanted them done again!  She also loves gum and chapstick.  For the past month she has been getting up early and going to be around midnight.  On top of that she decided she wasn't going to take naps.  It has been a long month, but now for the last 3 days she has gone to bed much earlier and gotten up at 8:30am and has even taken a 1.5 hours nap.  I am sure counting my blessings that she has been sleeping more.

I bit of everything on Christmas

This picture is a big scary.  After opening presents at our house, we went up to Brien's parents house (they live on 20 acres in a country town).  The tradition in his family is to go caroling which we all love to do.  While driving to some of the neighbors houses, we ran into this by a stop sign.  I now understand the meaning behind redneck jokes.  This is definitely up river humor!  Josh was freaked out.

Josh showered Brien and I with homemade gifts and wrapped them each in a whole role of scotch tape.

Not complete without our gingerbread houses.

Josh's house is a "police station"  I thought he should have use donuts.

Brien's gift from Josh.  A project he made at school about Christmas's around the world.

This is Bella's picture.  Ever since she has seen this picture she really thinks it's her on Jesus's lap.  It should be that way:)

Thanks Amy and Steve for hungry hippos!  It is a sure hit around here.

Santa is real-keep believing..please!

Josh has been confronted many times especially by friends that Santa is NOT real.  When he asks me, I say, "what do you believe?"  He always responds with a logically answer of how santa has to be real.  Josh is a kid who loves to believe.  I love this quality.  He has lots of hope.  He set out milk, cookies, and carrots for the reindeer by himself (I didn't even think to mention it).  I heard him say that what he really wanted was a bell from Santa's sleigh (he loves  polar express).  Well Santa came and there was a little box with a red bell from rudolph's collar for him and a nice note from santa.  He keeps this box in his bed and reads the note every night.

Future ski buddies

Josh was getting his ski gear together and Bella thought is was pretty neat stuff.  As soon as Josh took off his helmet Belles grabbed it and put it on.  I think we will have to take her up to try her up to the mountain to see if she will love to ski.

Birthday aftermath

The perfect party....PJ's, tea set, book, cash registrar with money, and a baby with a binky!.  Life is good.  She is talking so much and loves to sing and pray and make up her own songs.  If you are talking with somebody else and she is there, she just starts talking and feels like she is right in the middle of the conversation.  She is always saying, "Jesus loves me!"  She loves nursery.  She just started to sing the primary songs with me and can fill in words when I stop singing.  She is such a doll.  We LOVE YOU BELLES!
