LOVE THE LIGHTS
Sunday Brien came home for a moment and Bella will always say, "Dada..Lights lights." So it has become the tradition that when he leaves he always turns on the lights for her as she watches him drive away. ISn't it cute. Josh volunteered to do the dishes for me and unload the dishwasher. What a great day.
Dress Up
While I was out, Brien was teaching the kids how to be REAL cops. As you can see they enjoyed it and Bella sure has a nice stance.

Where's Bella?
IF THIS DOESN'T MAKE YOU LAUGH, I DON'T KNOW WHAT WILL!
While I was out teaching piano lessons, Bella was downstairs with Grandma and supposedly watching a movie. Well, When Grandma didn't see her on the couch she started her search. When she opened the office door, this is what she found. She had on Grandma's reading glasses upside down and was typing away at the computer. (She see's Grandma doing this every morning in her glasses). Of course the first thing Grandma did was run for her camera to get these unforgettable moments.
Bella has definitely entered the 2's era of her life. She has to do EVERYTHING herself and she lets everyone else know what to do to. She has learned had to tell us no and what she will and will not do. Totally pushing the limits. She is talking so much more and does funny things quite often. I find most of my day cleaning up after her. She dumped out baking soda and tried eating it, ate toilet paper(clean), ate cinnamon gum and screamed for more, smashed a bug with her fingers, and many other fun things today. Everyday truly is an "adventure". Funny thing is I don't remember this era with Josh, I must have blocked it from my memory.

Singing time
When Brien comes home for work and after his dinner he takes Bells into the living room and sings songs with her and she snuggles with him. She loves time with her Daddy. She kept giving him eskimo kisses and laughing so hard. She loves "the wheels on the bus" "itsy bitsy spider" "this is my little bella doo" "I am a child of God" "Temple" and lots of Brien's made up songs. It sure makes a difference in our family when Brien takes extra time with each of the kids. They love it.
IT's pumpkin time
We had planned to leave right after school to go to the pumpkin patch. We waited for Brien but he never came home so we decided to do this venture on our own and let Brien do his work. It was a blast. I thought Bella would want to get out of the cart and run around and pick a pumpkin, but she didn't want out and pointed to a pumpkin she wanted. She sat with it all the ride back and loved it. Josh had fun pushing Bella and the pumpkins. Looking at these pictures I think Josh and Bella look a lot alike. I loved so many of the pictures I couldn't pick just a couple so you all get to see a bunch:)
Folding Laundry??
I (Brien) put together this outfit and I thought that Bella was "rocking" it pretty well, so I decided to take some pictures of her. She is a gorgeous young lady and she is developing quite the personality. I love the little "flair" in her hair that curls outward away from her face. It definitely adds to her persona.
Brien's 32nd Birthday (Yes, I am old!)
Yes, it was my birthday! Annie and the kids did a great job decorating and Josh made me this amazing card. We had a great time together and I was very grateful for the fun that we had together. Because I worked the evening of my birthday, I was able to have some fun over the entire weekend! Friday was golfing in the evening. Saturday was out to lunch with Annie. Saturday evening was out to dinner with my dad and brother, Jesse. Sunday was the party with waffles in the morning and cobbler and vanilla ice cream before work! It was yummy!
Josh made me this amazing Woody card. He spent a long time putting together the message inside it and had it taped to the window. It reads: Happy Birthday to you. You live in a zoo. You look like a monkey and you smell like one too. You are my "faberit" Dad. I like when we play golf. If that isn't the sweetest kid, I don't know what is.
Here is a drawing Josh did with the two of us golfing together and making "golls." Hehe

Life is meant to be enjoyed
Did we mention that Bella loves Spaghetti and doesn't believe in utensils? I have tried to be a better mom. I've never really cared to bake because I usually eat what I make and I do not want to do that. The thing is, the kids love baking. Bella and I made banana bread while Josh was at school and Josh was super happy to come home to a banana muffin. Today Bella and I went to the park and enjoyed the sun. Yesterday we went shopping and had lunch at the chuck wagon. She gets so excited to go there because of the trains. She loves the trains. She kept yelling Mama CHOO CHOO, the whole restaurant knew she loved trains and it made everyone smile. Such simple pleasures. I have enjoyed spending time focusing on the kids. If I clean the house at night that frees up my day.
Josh is very nice. He cleaned the whole house for me yesterday evening and he reads Bella stories all the time. In the car on the way to school he will ask her if she would like him to read her a story and she always says "YES". They love to play chase and when the two of them start laughing they do not stop. That makes for a great day.
